streamline carbon will be making them soon.....

Streamline Carbon will be ripping us off soon.

I understand that its real carbon but the price for a streamline engine cover to the K-Tec engine cover is huge

i think you do pay a premium for streamline products but i think im going to have to bite the bullet and get them! no point in having your wheel retrimed then regret not paying the extra for the real dael grips!!!

Streamline stuff is awesome, and some people on here have made a few things to the same standards too (IMHO of course) :)

I think they are releasing them in September - 99% sure I read that on here last week.

VERY expensive though even for Streamline standards, which are awesome but I think it was about £90 for 2 thumbgrips - I think I'll keep dreaming of a 197 wheel or get mine retrimmed lol
If I'm wrong about the price - forgive me as I still love my Carbon

now I know streamline stuff is top notch, don't personally have anything of theirs though. Everything they make is prepreg so stronger and lighter (contains the correct amount of resin) this then has to be bagged and cured in an autoclave which aren't cheap to run or maintain, this and the higher cost of prepreg material over wet lay dry carbon and resin, if you want quality get streamline, if you want cheaper go ktec and if you want cheap just get some bits wet lay skinned

oh does a 197 steering whell fit the 182???

It does with a small alteration to the back and a wiring adapter for the airbag or something like that - few people on here have had it done
Expensive wheel though and I'd probably need to make a trip to whoever perfected the fit to get my car booked in lol :)
