Carbon or Normal Splitter?

On a monaco blue 172? In two minds and not sure if the carbon one would look better than the normal plastic one?

How about just covering it with a carbon effect stick on sheet? It'll probably be more resiliant to stones and the like (Not to mention a heck of a lot cheaper )

Well I haven't got either so if I want carbon i'll got for the k-tec one, only £20 dearer than the normal ones seem to go for. And about £20 cheaper than renault sell them for!
