Carbs

Been looking at making my car abit faster amd can't afford throttle bodies..
How much would I be looking at putting carbs on my 182
I mate has some yamaha r1 52mm carbs for 100.
On a old forum I went on people used a omex 100 ecu but why if they don't require a ecu? Any help will be appreciated..

I would imagine it would be too much work to be worth it.

And an ecu is still needed to control ignition.
