1:28 wet on a busy day isn't bad at all dan. That's a match for the quickest most people manage in the dry on an empty track in a standard car so it shows how much faster yours is.

I did 1:22 in the turbo but that was with terrible brakes. I reckon it might just touch the teens on a really good day.

Havent read all the posts but feel for the guy with the MK1 black clio, was in my first session, I was covered in a cloud of smoke just as he passed me, also think rear anti-roll bar has broken when was waiting to go out in the pit. Saw the LY yellow tho, gota love that colour

Out of all the action days I've been to (several) - there were less incidents than usual IMO. I would say that's mostly down to people appreciating it was damp.

Yeh it's all good, hangs a little low as it's not a whiteline item. Was certainly going well though, was only on PE2's too!

Few people spinning, and a smashed up black puma in the exit.

Cheap and cheerful, Canon 1100D (£100) and Tamron 70-300 (£200) for the track stuff.

Bit more expensive for the statics, Canon 5D MkII, Sigma 35mm 1.4 and Canon 135mm f2.

I know the track well so was able to push the little Clio quite hard, corners were where it shined.

At that stage it was yes, looks utterly disgusting TBH, but still handled surprising well despite the horrible lean angles, I got past that M3 on the way out of camp as I hit the apex so much faster than him I carried a lot of speed out of it that he didnt and that allowed me to edge past.

Im on standard shocks with eibach springs and mine seems to roll a fair bit, also running a whiteline arb, any suggestions on stiffening it up? Currently on 16" wheels with semi slicks!

Firmer springs, ie cooksport, will control the lean a bit better than eibachs do.
Or AST etc if budget allows.

Lol the M3 was my mates he span it and clipped tyre wall but nothing major as he went straight back out he was pushin to hard racing that r32 powered vento haha
Also black puma on the exit was another mates lol except it was smashed up before spring action :/ he just blew engine up on track and I had to tow it home
