CD Changer Swap?

Hi All,

New to Cliosport as i've just bought myself a lovely 02 black clio sport 172. What a car!!

Anyway, i was wondering if i could change the factory standard Alpine cd changer under the passenger seat for a Apline unit that would play MP3 discs. I don't really want to run new cabling, so if anyone out there knows if i can just swap the unit for a better one, it would be much appreciated.

You'll need to get a new head unit as well. The stock CD changer only works with the OE head unit. And vice versa.

If you want to stick with alpine i've got a 9855R hu and a S634 cd changer and they work brilliantly, would throughly recommend both.

Thanks, but i think if i have to change the HU i'll just get a Sony MP3 HU and lose the CD changer altogether. Cheers anyway.
