CD Player for a 2000 Clio

I want to put a factory CD player in my 1.2 Clio which is a W Reg / 2000 Grande Model.

Will something like this work:

I've had a look round ebay and they say that they will fit Y reg / face lift models only...is this correct?

it will wrk I put one in my sisters x plate grande from my 02 plate dynamique

But would it look right ? slighter different shade of material, wrong shape etc.

You would be better off getting an after market alpine unit or something.

looks ok in hers its the same colour as the tape deck that was in it

Don't want aftermarket as it's really me mums car - she'll want the steering wheel controls and the big hed up display etc.
