cd player genuine one

where does the multi-changer fit to? or carnt you on the dynamique cd player? anyone know what models? I carnt see any pre-outs on there either. Ive got a kenwood 6 disc changer but theres no where for the socket to go in unless i need a different cable...

any ideas?

i have a renault alpine cd changer fitted to my dynamique, your kenwood connection will not fit in the back of the cd player

Can some please explain what cd changers will fit a dynamics cd player.

Ive tried searching for an answer but Im still in the dark.

The 172 cd player looks the same as the dynamics on but are they different?

Can I buy a 172 cd changer and plug it in (what wire/wires do I need)?

Also who does everyone seem to install the cd changer in the boot? I dont use the glovebox so putting it in there would be easlier.

Also how do I mount the cd chnager can I make a home made one with duct tape and some rubber to help stop vibrations and skipping tracks?

Thanks for any help I have tried seaching honest

yes the dyn version is the same as the 172. The 172 changer is fitted under the passenger seat using a large clamp. most cd changers are screwed into the foor of the boot or under the passengers seat (youll need to remove the plastic tray). Yes you can use the glove box and cut a hole in the bottom for the cable but youll have to make sure it will fit and may need to pack it with something to make it solid. You can use the alpine (172) and possible some VDO(Philips) cd multi-changer and get the clamp for the seat for best results. My local ice place says you can fit sony changers onto the head unit as well as the factory ones but im not sure about that cos they may have different software loaded onto them.

I take it you dont want to ruin your car by drilling it? Maybe use some luggage straps or something.

I bought one and mounted it in the boot with industrial strength velcro - has never slipped. And if i need the boot it just comes out.

Once you have the correct lead for the headunit its blatently obvious where it plugs in to it.

you may be able to get a sony changer. They do aftermarket changers for some cars where you keep the standard stereo. And most changers are just bolted down!
