central locking button

since i have fitted a new headunit into my 172 cup i discovered that the button to lock the doors does not work anymore. anyone know why this may be?

You have probably dragged the plug off the back of that switch when pushing the unit in. ive done it before.

perhaps you knocked the wires off when fitting the hu?

ahh right, sounds quite possible. any way of sorting this out or will the botton have to come off? or something?

why not just take your stereo out and check the wiring behind it 1st

HU out and push the plug back into the switch. Easy.

just pull the panel with the buttons out.... just clips in.... get something flat and lever the panel out and then check the connections...

yeah just done that and found the plug had come out.
