central locking problem. 1.2 16v Dynamique 2001

allrite guys
wondering if any of you could shed some light on my clios central locking problem!. all the doors will lock appart from the drivers, i cannot get the drivers door to lock at all.
any help of sugestions would be appriceated

does the door lock manually?

ie. with key instead of key fob

no the key goes in but it does not turn

gonna have to take the door card of and see if anything is broken mate. easy job to do, reply if you need some guidelines how to do it.
