The black plastic bit from my reciever (the little bit at the front) has broken in half and fallen off.

Are they normally able to come off (when they're not in half)?

Just trying to work out whether I need to get a whole new receiver/set of keys or if I can just get the black bit from a scrappies.

EDIT: Maybe renault even sell the plastic bit seperately?

get the plastic bit from a scrappys or they sometimes pop up on ebay (the whole receiver unit) or probably someone on here thats breaking their clio, maybe jay-s has one in that pile of 16v sitting on his drive...

So the plastic bit comes on and off freely.

I'm talking about the half transparent little bit at the front.

It's just cosmetic isn't it? I think it might help the receiver pick up the plip better if anything, like you have on remote controls and receivers, if it still works a bit of super glue and jobs a gooden?

Yeah I think it just helps pick up the signal a bit.

Just need sum1 to try and remove it so I know if it's normally able to come off.
