Centre Cap Rant

So I've owned my 200 for just over a year, and I've had 3 centre caps fall off, all from the front wheels. 1 could have been pinched, but 2 have fallen off going from a secure work car park to home, a 5 minute journey on fairly flat roads!

Does anyone else have this issue?

I bought the first one at a cost of £25 from a dealer and then pained a couple more from the scrap yard for a couple quid but it's not really about the money, more the bloody hassle of having to source more!

Used to get this on the Golf all the time. Gave up in the end and ran without them lol.

The 182 ones stayed on pretty well. Mind you, I ran without the centre caps for years - I actually think it looked better without them on.

It wouldn't look as bad, or as odd, if it was all 4 but having just 1 missing drives me mad.

Definitely - just one missing would drive me mad too!

Try some laguna alloy wheel centres, if you have black speedlines get them painted black first.

They've not fallen out yet but I did have a set stolen a year or so ago. c***s.
