Ceramic coat the turbo or not?

  R35 GTR
Need a quick decision as it will probably be done tomorrow or next few days.

Around £160+VAT for ceramic coating the turbo.

I have been told there are no draw backs, but is it worth me doing on the 182?

not a priority but no harm i wouldnt of thought.

Gases are put through the hot side so quickly though, that I couldnt really see the benifit if im honest. £160 better spent elsewhere?

Well if it's not gonna be huge gains I could spend the cash elsewhere. It's just easy to do it when the turbos out.

I am thinking now, a remap would be better value for money.

will reduce engine bay temps, which has got to be worth something.

had my 182 mani done, worked very well.

I would use a turbo wrap. I used it on a scoob rally car and it did'nt melt the third cylinder for a change! Id coat the manifold though as wrapping it can be a wee bit risky. If a gap appears after a while it increases the temperature so more maintainance is needed.
