Change in MPG - RSTuner and Induction Kit

So since I got the 182 in Febuary this year in have averaged 32/34 mpg. Two weeks ago I fitted a pipercross viper carbon and put the Ron 98 map on the car and MPG has dropped to 27/28 is this normal?

Yes, mine did the same. It's because you put your foot down more for the induction noise!

Induction kit = More air = More petrol burned.

Map = Higher revs = More petrol burned.

A was thinking this myself to be honest so made a conscious effort to drive sensibly and couldnt get it any better

But yeah induction noise is addictive lol

Vipers don't really suit these engines mate, in tests on rr's (same car same day) they did worse than standard in afraid.

If your doing short trips, the MPG will go up in winter months quite a bit as the cold map effectively stays on for longer thus you burn more fuel in the cold map. Take it for a 20mins+ run, then when hot, reset the MPG. this will give you a better idea of what its doing once the engine is hot and its not running the cold map.

As above, I imagine the only difference is you may leave the car to warm up for a few mins which can add up, and also you'll be putting your foot down more for the noise. .
