I,ve sold my mk2 172 and bought a low milage Mk1!!
Im really made up with it too. Feels slightly different to Mk2 - a little more involving and raw. Not a massive difference but feels better to me(well he would say that wouldnt he)
Also the driving position seems a touch better, I seem to sit a bit lower, and the wheel a touch higher - maybe the steering wheel is smaller?
Does anyone else agree?
Engine wise, the only difference I can see is the air filter box - cylindrical as opposed to panel.
Cant really tell much in performance either
I prefer the front end of the MK1 but the rear looks a bit roundy!
