Changing a bulb...

Well today I turned my attention to the 175, after waiting for some more parts to be delivered for the 182.

The other day I noticed the O/S front indicator bulb had gone so I got another one ready to fit today. Now I have owned an R26 in the past and even recently changed the main bulbs in the last couple of months on the 175. I know it's a tricky affair and I've struggled and sworn and cut my hands/wrists doing it but always managed it.

Anyway the indicator bulb is almost impossible to do using the service hatch in the wheel arch, I managed to undo it but it literally would not back out of the head lamp itself as part of the actual bodywork was in the way. I then tried peeling back the arch but the same problem existed and I don't have hands the size of an action man.

So off with the bumper... it just makes me laugh that something that should genuinely take seconds is so drawn out... but I got there in the end, at least the weather was nice today!

Lol, I partexd my (boring 1.6) megane when the indicator bulb went as it was another electrical issue I couldn't be bothered with. I looked at doing it but chopped it in instead.

Haha only a French car would you consider trading in rather than changing a bulb. Got to love them!

Lights on my mates Audi have removal clips accessible from the top.
Pop a few clips and the entire unit slides right out, easy access to any bulb within 30 seconds.

French design is f**king dogshit at times.
