Changing Front Discs - Imact Driver?

Can anyone tell me if I require an impact driver to remove the front brake discs from a RS182? As I've only had the car a week and not had a chance to take the wheels off.

Did mine the other say with a simple socket set, depends how long they have been on there for and if when changed the were copper greased up.

So there's no retaining screw on the disk to the hub?

Excelent! Does the caliper come off with the usuall 2 bots?

yeah there is a retaining screw - sorry I used my hex adaptor in my socket set, but it shouldn't be too tight, just make sure it is clean first as its easy to round.

2 Bolts on back of calipers are always tight but will come off with some persuasion.

I think the retaining screw is a torx head, mine came off easily enough.

use an impact driver if you have one, the torx bolts are made of butter. i rounded one off once!

Got these sorted at the weekend there, absoloute gift

Brakes are 100% better now, much more feel.
