changing top engine mount

ive bought anew engine mount the one by the cambelt,are they hard to change?thanks

wouldnt of thought so im guessing you have to support the engine from underneath and just take the old one off

they're dead easy - 10 minute job once you know what you're doing

it looks simple enough was just wondering if it is harder than it looks

Undertray Off,
Jack up engine on the sump (use a block of wood between the jack and sump)so its supporting the engine,
Remove old mount,
Fit new mount,
Remove jack,
Replace under tray,
Job done!!

wots the under tray?i take it i have to take engine cover off aswell?thanks for all your help

Yeah sorry forgot about the engine cover! The undertray is the black plastic cover underneath the car that protects the sump etc

the undertray, if fitted, is the plastic tray bolted to the underside of the subframe. engine cover would have to come off, too

you're just taking the weight of the engine with the jack - not lifting it too much

you might find it takes some effort to 'crack' the nuts that bolt the alloy casing to the cylinder head; other than that, fairly straight forward
