Cheap Blue tooth solution that still uses stalk control

So my FF 182 has an aux cable that's a bit dodge and way too short in any case (inside the glove box) so I am looking to get a cheap head unit so I can blue tooth my phone. However I really really like the stalk volume control and wondered if there is any way it would still work with an after market head unit?

You can get a Bluetooth to aux adapter, which would be the cheapest and keep the volume control.

Ah that's an interesting thought, hadn't seen those? I've seen the tuner bluetooth things but from past experience they have always been s**t....

So your saying there is a bluetooth adapter with headphone socket??

The bluetooth to aux will only allow for volume control, not tracking skipping iirc

You just need to buy the correct adaptor to link the aftermarket radio to the stalk controller:

I believe this is correct, bookmarked it a few years ago, and never purchased. So probably worth investigating a little before ordering
