Is the sound going to be any better than a itrip if connect via the aerial input, I take it you loose the radio then aswell? I have a tuner list so no aux input as far as I know.

check the harmon kardon website for the connections available, it will work with any radio!

For the best set up with these, buy the aux cable from FloridaDaz, it plugs into the unit so you don't have to use the aerial input.

its because the stupidly expensive drive & play 2 has come out.

anyone got any ideas of where to place the screen and remote?

got the kit etc, had a play with the positioning, think the screen might go well by the clock but not sure about the remote.

To be honest, the best thing I did with mine was bin it! I had it fitted at a local car audio specialist and at first it was ok but then the screen just wouldn't stick down and in the end it ended up flying all over the dash every time I turned a corner. The wiring to it got knackered very quickly and it stopped working. The wiring was concealed and the screen was stuck to the right hand side of the driving wheel, just at the top of the dash. Being right handed it suited me better here.

Music quality - rubbish. Bear in mind, I bought mine about 3/4 years ago so they may have improved but in hindsight I should have invested the cash in something better. I had a dension in a previous car and it was brilliant, much better than what any FM kit can do in my opinion.

mine wont be running on an fm frequency mine will be direct line in, so crystal clear sound.

where did you put the remote part?
