I actually like this colour its so much nicer in the metal, only 4 made in Lunar IIRC, one was specced with leather @ £3,995...

  V6 255, 172's, JCW,
This is one of two identical Lunar Grey cars commissioned by Renault UK. Fully spec'd with 'complete id leather in blue'.

One of the four has creme leather, id pack 3, (door trims, steering wheel, gear and hand brake gaitors and seats)

The last one had standard trim for an id colour.

Shaun your V6 looks incredible, so much better with silver pods!! did you get those sprayed silver or was that the original spec?

Personally i love the Lunar colour because its so different, although i can see its a bit or a marmite colour.

Thanks for the kind comments guys.. I'm over the moon with it.. lol no pun intended :p

'quik99' & 'Danny' - On all early id coloured cars, the side pods were colour coded. However, either bowing to feed back from customers or just Renault cost cutting, later id colours where fitted with silver pods. So for the 4 Lunars, 3 have colour coded and one had silver from the factory for UK cars. Thats just how he cookie crumbled as they say. I guess more weren't ordered purely due to it being not well received back in 2004/05. As Danny mentioned, its a Marmite colour. But very under acknowledged as it photographs badly and doesnt show off its true colour.

All four are still about :) This is the one I really wanted and sold my Black/Gold v6 to get it when it came up for sale again last year.

Only 2 Petrol Blue v6's left the factory, both went to Austria

For info on the Mole Valley chariot - I have phoned about it before, probably 2 weeks or more ago and my summary is....

1) £13,950 was 'cash' no trade in price
2) Price was non negotiatable
3) £1,000 cambelt, water pump blab was due and wasnt going to be done by the dealer
4) It is sitting on 30,800 miles or so
5) Last serviced in May at London Renault.
6) Apparently its 'mint'
