Cheap Sub Advice Plese

Looking at the £40 limit on subs, want to get a couple of 12" - amp to be chosen later. Any advice/experience?

JBL seem good value, also Pioneers TS-W305C looks nice in my price range.

Any advice greatly thanked and hands shaken all round.

can you not stretch to £60 a sub ?

the cheap Pioneer subs are actually good for the cash

if you cant, pickup 2 JBLs from Motor World, £50 each for a GT4-12

if your budget wont allow £50 a piece, pickup some Mutant subs, excellent value for money equipment, far better than almost everything in its price range, if not everything

mutant subs are crap. if u spend £50 on a sub wait until the sony 12" ones go in the sale at halfords. they are better than jbl and mutant imo but u need to wait till they go into the sale which they always do.

JBL are a far better manufacturer of subs than sony, sony ICE is, in short, poor

not sure on prices for Pro Plus, but they are a pretty good budget brand

directed also have a budget speaker, the xtreme 124x, which hving heard it last week, can say its a very good speaker, they have taken quite a bit of technology developed from their top end kit and modified them slightly to make their entry level sub

errrr, NO

Sony subs are sh*te, JBL, AND Mutant IMO are better
