Cheapest place for Coilovers/Opinions

  Nikon D700
Morning all,

Where's the cheapest place to get coilovers from? K-tec seem a little steep. Dont really want to spend more than £550... So have ruled out H&Rs. Thinking of going for FKs with damper adjustment.

Cheers.

Yeah - was just looking at rimstyle - great prices. Probably going to push the boat out and get the silverlines for £605 delivered! Bargain!

Think you can grease them up..stops them sticking..but you will probably
find they you wont adjust them much in anycase..unless you do track.

is there any coilovers that will fit a 1.2 and a 172 lol bcuz i would get coilovers if i know that they will fit my 172 when i get it

its just a quality difference then with the X's?
are the konigs and Xs BOTH height adjustable both front and rear?
or is it just the fronts?

  Nikon D700
Silverline X's are just stainless versions of the Konigs. Therefore are identicle in how they work - just the materials are different.

Therefore - yes, height adjustable at front and back.

I'd pay a bit extra and go for some H&R's.... well thats what i'd buy anyway.

where is the cheapest place to buy these? an ebay shop used to for just over 600 iirc but they don't seem to anymore.
Ktec charge close to 900, which is a massive differnece from 600.

Anyone know the cheapest place?

H and R's are about £750 if you shop round and worth it.

just been on rimstyle they have 100 pound of the spax coilys are these any good??
Nope.

I'd definately consider going for the H&R's over the fk's. I've had fk silverlines before and i've had leda suspension. I've been out in cars with H&R's and they are a quality setup for the money. The fk's are very hard, even with the dampening set at soft.

I'd save and pay the extra if it were my money.

mrmahoosive youll have to tell me what your FKs are like when you get them. H & Rs are just so much money and noone seems to know where you can get them for under 850

They were due today, to be fitted over the weekend. But they are stuck in Germany, still being made... Should be on next weekend!

  Mustang, S13, AX GT
I had FKs on my 1.2 from 2modified and I though they were really comfy lol, shows what suspension I'm used too if other people think they are hard...
