Cheapest Place to Buy Trolley Jack

not wishing to pish on your parade, but "cheap" and "trolley jack" are not a great idea mate, had plenty of pish ones in the past from halfrauds etc (one meant that i couldnt actually lower my car again) and would never look at spending minimum dollar again.

your thought process should be a reasonably priced one, that wont cause you to have to buy new suspension/disks/hubs/bumpers when it fails on you.

just friendly advice lad :)

i wouldnt mind one thats lower than normal so i dont have to drive on blocks of wood ;)

Costco currently have a really nice aluminum trolley jack with low platform, about £65+vat (in fact it looks like the exact same jack as in your original the motorsport link). It's also really light too for it's size. Has replaced an old smaller jack that was much heavier and wouldn't fit under my car sills. Much easier now to just run this one underneath the car and jack it up straight away.

Agreed,

But i never support a car on a Jack alone, Axel stands or Ramps go straight under.

I already have a Snap On 4T Jack, but its a bit chunkey to get under the car without one person lifting the wheel arch while someone else slips the Jack under.

I want something Light, Not to expensive etc so that I can sling it in the car for track days Etc

I Am joining Cost co at the weekend so will see what they have.

I had one of the low level Costco ones in the past. Worked flawlessly and was only £60+VAT.
