Checking/Replacing Front Subframe

Following on from a recent ding, and after replacing everything (shock, hub, wishbone, ball joint, driveshaft, brake disc!) on the offending side of the car, things still arent right..

From the symptoms Ive described, BB say its more than likely subframe damage that wasnt visible when the front left corner was stripped to fit the new parts.

I understand a lot of stuff has to come off to check and repair this properly, but what Id like to know is what exactly *does* go into it.

Would just like to have an understanding of whats going to happen really, and some idea of time scale for the actual work, and getting the part(s).

Anyone had experience of this they can share?

Cheers in advance
