cig lighter wiring on 182......HELP

can anyone tell me which wire off the cig lighter is live,which is ground and which is live to cig light as i want to hard wire my road angel navigator and run second cig lighter off original one .thanks

Think my 172 socket looked a little different to that pic, but the wireing was actually the same. It's fairly obvious if i recall, the LED cable is smaller than the power ones i think.

yup, thats right. iirc the newer models dont have the removable blue cover, but the wiring is exactly the same.
