Of course i have tardis
i have Menz203s to follow it up afterwards then followed by my BF GEP, AFPP then my new Vics which will go in with this order.
Vics won't bond to AFPP properly, given its uniquely slick polymers...
As for clay, stick to BH Soft, cut it into four and you have a very cost effective clay, with water as lube
I think Russ means normal waxes wont work over AFPP. A post on detailing world by Rich of Polished Bliss:
...very few waxes sit comfortably on top of AFPP, because the polymer used to make it is a fussy one that repels natural waxes. This is why Blackfire have engineered there own wax to contain a lot of the same polymer... it's the only way they could get their wax to bond to their sealant properly! We've tried layering a number of waxes over AFPP and in many cases we've suffered poor durability and/or streaking upon application (to the extent that a full strip back was needed). Thus, we only ever use Midnight Sun over AFPP. Anything else is too risky.
No he didn't top with anything but said I could do with some sealant/wax.
I just read that quote above and thought I might actually mess up Jim's work when I put some wax on. Don't really want to be stripping back what I've paid for!
