If I wash/wax my car & then need to get rid of a few speckles and dust & stuffs, is a 'quick detailer' thing-y what I'd use...?
Or are you going to tell me to stop being a lazy cow & wash it again....

Also, what product should I be using to get the best out of 449 blue?

Aaaaaaaand.. lol, there are a few swirls & diddy litte scratches, will a 'paint restorer' product that I've discovered lurking in the shed be alright, or should I step away from the stuff!

hehe... just polish it and wax it id say, i used to use the black magic black polish on my car (ovbiosuly not my orange car) and that seemed to do the trick, but ive tidied that up and it looks a treat when clean

Depends how dirty it is whether a QD spray will be a good is, any real dust build up and you will put more swirls in!

The paint renovator may end up putting in very fine swirls taking out the bigger marks - the previous owner kindly left a bottle of Blue Colour Magic in the boot for me in the 106, explains whet the paintwork was so fucked.

Decent machine polish is the future !

I'll leave the paint renovator well alone then I think & just stick to giving it a wash.

I am gonna wash it this afternoon I think, but don't wanna be washing it every time its dirty, hence the QD.

Get yourself some Autoglym Super Resin Polish (though you may have some in your pink Ag Bag already) will reduce some of the Minor marks and help hide some others.

On light dust you will be ok with a QD, just be sensible as to how much crap is on there.

the red polish (SRP), the black polish (Gloss one?), and the blue aqua wax...
along with various other bits and bobs of wierd stuff..

some absolute toss face just drove past with a skip on the bag & despoited a nice film of ming over my car... thanks!

Wash it and dry it then SRP it. Then the next time you wash it use the Aquawax on it. Word of warning don't try the Aquawax on the car if it is too dry - is a total mare as I found out on Wednesday night! doh!

(Extra Gloss should a Gold Label - Ultra Deep Shine a Black Label if you have the former you could use that after SRP it is just a pain to use)

i do it every week, so ive got it down to a tee thing is i dont have a hose pipe so takes a bit longer lol to wax it, it takes longer, it took me 2hours to do my bros car last night, that was with the interior bits and this n that and i had to wait for him to stop f@nnyin about!

I could probably do the bodywork alone in 45mins, throw in the wheels, arches, engine bay and door shuts the quick wash soon takes a lot longer for me

QD is ok if its maybe been in the garage over night with a few little bit of lint/dust on but generally if you use an anti static QD after its been washed it should help to stop as much dust or the likes getting stuck on the freshly cleaned paint..

Do please tell, by hand or by machine it is not easy to apply/spread or remove. Wont allow EGP to bond over it, the durability is not that great. Looks are no better than SRP - Waste of time IMO

I will stick to the SRP and EGP.

By machine screw doing ANYTHING bar waxing by hand now lol. I dont use EGP just go straight to a wax so I wouldnt know. Durability is good on it I found, Its only a PITA to remove if its applied to thickely and not worked in properly

Its a good 1 step product does fill badly swirled finishes nicely
