cleaning a ramair foam filter

bought 2nd hand.... in short how the fack do u clean it?? wash it, oil it??

my mate has some pipercross cleaner stuff he can give me but has no clue to how to do it as it was his ex birds filter!!

I used to wash mine in warm soapy water, let it dry naturally and then spray the oil liberally

with my old piperx filter i just washed it in soapy water, washed it out, let it dry and re-oiled it

dunno if that was right but seemed alright

i wouldnt put it in the direct sunlight to dry either just to be safe.

Should dry fairly quickly in the shade thou if today is anything to go by

thanks for the advice mate, ill get it washed and then stick the whole relocation kit on the mother thurs as its MOTd 2mo!!
