CLEANING AIR INDUCTION KIT

Got the Air Induction Kit from BB Performance tuning which is supposed to be washable/reusable but the guys gave me no instructions on how to do it. Can anyone help?

Copy of e-mail to BB:

I purchased an air induction kit about 6 months ago from yourselves which was fitted at your garage (172 Sport) This filter is supposed to be washable/reusable. Thing is I was given no instructions so not sure how to go about doing it.

Any help you could give would be much appreciated

Thanks in advance

What is it green or pipercross?

Basically you buy a cleaning (for the right make of filter) kit. Remove any lose dirt ect with an old paint brush etc. Spray the cleaning agent on the outside of the filter, leave for 10mins then wash it with water from inside the filter, so it drives the dirt out rather than further into the filter material. Do not use high pressure water on it either. let it dry (about 12 hours I guess) then lightly re oil the filter uniformly (on the out side). Refit and there you go.

Not sure i guess demon tweaks, halfords? the cleaning kit should include the cleaning agent and the oil, pluss instructions anyway.
