Cleaning question - pls help guys!

Not sure if this has happened to others on here, but Ive still got the adhesive backing on the drivers door cill from where a protective strip was placed during transport.

Ive tried to get it off with both Auto Glyms intensive tar remover and the bumper care solutions, but it only takes a small bit off. Im loathe to try anything more abrasive, just it case it knackers the paint/lacquer.

Any ideas guys?

i would just keep going at it with a polish, with a bit of work it will come off

If the Tar remover has not worked I would be tempted to use some thinners or panel wipe from a bodyshop.

Hi,

I had the same problem, I used an ahesive remover from Jessops, I think it was a stain devil type product for fabrics, the adhesive came off with very little effort.

Thanks for the response guys - Ill try what Ive got again and if thats a no-go then Ill try Bennys suggestion.
