cleaning tyres

not dressing them, i have seen thread a few posts down

what do people use to clean the tyres with? the wheels are coming off soon to take it off the road for a full PC and really want to go to town on tyres as i top up the old tyre shine every other week.

APC should be good to use

yep. APC and agitate it with a brush/jetwash off

Megs APC has so many uses its epic.

i bought a gallon tub of it lol

Apc and a nail brush. The tyre shine will last longer and look better once its applied on a really clean surface.

I usually use APC for this but have found existing tyre shines a bit stubborn to get off with just APC and a brush sometimes

I hear Megs Super Degreaser is better suited to the job, I'd give that a try

Megs APC or Autoglym Engine and Machine cleaner, scrubbed with a one of those Kitchen Scourer sponges here.
