Clicking clutch...

Was out doin some performance tests in the dci tonite and noticed a nasty kinda snap noise as i depressed the clutch...

Almost like a plastic coke bottle had rolled behind there and was makin a crack noise as it got squashed :S

Any ideas wot it could be?

Its been happenin for a few days now but only occasionally, made the noise 5 or 6 times today tho :S

I bet one of the teeth in the clutch tensioner has broke or its slipped one when you dumped the clutch.

i bought a new pedal assembly from renault was about £28 but that was for a williams

Quite cheap only £20 or so from memory depends what bits broken the pedal or the other bit as such there only cheap.
