Climate control on 172

I've got the common climate control issue, the display works fine but no heat comes out the vents. I've changed the resistor with a new one but still have the same problem. Has any one got any other ideas??!!

Checked the fuses and they are ok, heat resistor under scuttle replaced with a new one and still no joy, cleaned the dirt out of the fan sensor by the interior light but I'm just plain stuck now. Can anyone shed any more light on this??

try jumping pin 1 and 5 on the ressistor terminal if fan blows full then motor is ok

1 controls ?
2 motor ?

i had same problem and i checked all them things but still no joy so ended up havin a nnew blower fitted and all seems fine now.hope this helps.
