I dont know much about cars really, so where do the spacers go as Ive bought the whole kit and 4 16" speedline cup alloys.
You bolt the wheels to the hubs normally.
Spacers fit between the hub and the wheels.
Basically there just pushing the wheel further and further out.
Spacers come in a few different tyres there are universal one like Demon Tweeks sell etc which fit any wheel there just basically a round plate you fit over the hub and use the standard bolts. The biggest is about 5mm.
The next type includes bigger bolts as well as if you think about it using big spacers will mean that normal bolts won't be long enough to go trough th wheels andthe spacers and get a few god threads on the hub.
The final type are the hub centrical ones, there expensive (£80 or so) but the best type there used for over 10mm usually and you usually need them custom making.
You've got to remember doing this has two main advanatges and disadvantages.
Advantages
1) It mkaes the wheels look positioned rihgt in the arches.
2) It gives greater stearing feedback (relitivly ) due to a load of stuff I cannot explain.
Disadvantages
1) It will put more load on the bhub bearings so they will wear quicker how much quicker depends on who you drive and a load of other factors.
2) Cost and risk.
