i cant i aint got the logbook yet i had to apply for it its kinda confusing but you might understand
the car was written off last novermber but the guy who broke it didnt set a disposal date, because the garage ''didnt have time to apply for the logbook'' and tax it they gave it to me so i applied for the logbook through the DVLA and have now gotta wait 4-6 weeks for it to get here before i can tax it. i have asked the garage to tax it coz its quicker for them to apply for the logbook through the previous car insurer then they can tax it through their business and then do that whole green slip logbook thing with me so i becom ethe owner again and wont have to tax it for another year.
so i have decided tomoro to give the garage the choice to tax it if it will be quicker for them to do so or to bring it here on the tow truck and have it out back where it was before they picked it up.

just they are a bunch of nobheads and i dont wanna go over there in few weeks with the tax disc and find theyve done somethin like crush the car or burn it or somethin lol. just ponderin wot ifs tbh

All you have to do if you get pulled is say to them look i had it at a garage getting some work done and i have just picked it up and im going to get the tax now i couldnt get it before because it was at the garage so long as your going to get the tax you will be fine.
lol well yes. I had the same prob as you when I bought my clio. My head gasket went 3 times, I bought it from Swindon and I live in Wales, although it was taxed and insured I still had to take it back and for to him, but in the end after the 3rd time I made him come and pick it up. Trading standards later told me that in the law it states "the consumer should not incur any additonal cost related with the breakdown of a product" So basically it's up to them to bring the car back and forth to you, not up to you to get it to and from them, as this would be costing you money.
