Clio 1.2 question.

Guy on another forum is wanting to know the answer to this.

MK1 clio 1.2 without rev counter, If you put clocks with rev counter will it work. I know it does on vauxhalls and i know it wont work on fords. Anyone know.

Depends, if his is an 'Energy' SPI engine (stamped on the rocker cover) then it should do, yes. If its a 'DIET' MPI engine then no. I have been told that there was a DIET engined clio equipped with a rev counter but have yet to see one and thats the only clocks your could use if you have.
