Get a DCi100 instead, get a Pmurray remap and your looking at the good side of 120bhp and more torque than a 182
...and 60mpg!!!
didnt you right off your 1.2 16v????? Id stick with a 1.216v if i was you lol
yea but insurance will fook u up, also why not just get a 1.2 to get ur confidence back then after a year or so get a valver or somthing?

..and a dead gearbox. Can't handle the torque from what i've read.

Yeah your right, JC5 could just about manage a 1.6/1.8 Petrol Laguna (Imagine how these are driven, people aged 40/50etc)
Al whatever you do don't get the 100 you'll get pissed off with the gearbox. Too long ratios
go for a 1.6 16v dynamique - wont be disappointed
The 1.6 16v is grp 8 or 10 depending on hich you go for, its also in the higer tax band.
From a young persons point of view th extra 12bhp isn't worth it over the 1.4 16v at grp 5 and low tax band

You've got a fair few points there.
I don't know whether I'm lucky but im 19 with 1 NCB and pay sub £1000 on my 1.6, and it really does feel nippy. Would be my choice out the two, however it depends if you've got the cash to pay for the extra speed or would rather conserve pennies.
Cheers,
Pete.
you could buy a mk2 ph1 for the price of a valver!!
