Just out of curiousity what do you lot get mpg wise in your 1.6's? and what should the tyre preasures be?

id miss the extra torque that the 1.6 16v has over the 1.4 16v.
the 1.6 16v is more a nippy low down power engine rather than a screaming high reving engine id say, but nothing that cant be sorted with a few mods.
were putting a 1.6 16v in mine Summer 2007 with headwork, cams, s/s exhaust system with decat and manifold and fully lightned and ballanced bottom end. it will hardly be a Super1600 rally car but to be fair i think it will be pretty fast! Throttle bodys at some point possibly if i can justify spending all the cash!!

About 35mpg............40 if VERY careful.
