Clio 1.8 16v ECU

Does anybody know how important the numbers on the ECU are? I have seen an ECU on ebay but the S---- number doesn't match but the HOM----- number does match???? Would this work?

if it's a valver ECU (not williams or other) it will work. HOWEVER Phase 1 ecus don't have immobilisers and Ph2 do.
