clio 1.8 16v question

sum one told me today that to be careful with my valver they sed that the engine starts to melt down wen it gets near 150mph,

firstly is the true or bullsh*t... surely they cant :dapprove:

on the ova hand if it is how can i prevent it :approve:

wouldnt even contemplate going that fast any way,love my car and driving it too much to risk loosing my license.
