Clio 172 0-100 mph times...

...what is the general consensus on this? Never see these figures published in many places but am interested to know.

I am guessing about 17s??

prob a tad quicker, around 16 i would say, i did 14.5 @ 94mph at the pod but mine is not standard

A good 182 is around 16.5 I think. A good 172 would probably be around 17 I imagine.

172 Cup's do it a shade under 12 secs IIRC. If in the twisty stuff, even quicker!

You're looking at around 18 seconds for the 172/182, and 17 for the cup and trophy, 197 is around 35 iirc?

And seeing as none of them were done on the same day, with the same driver, with the same exact tyres/pressures, with the same fuel load, comparing them to decide which is quickest is a complete waste of time.

They're all nippy, the end.

Except the 172 Cup which is like sitting inside an ICBM.

Evos figures are full tank of fuel and a passenger.

Weight is the key with these cars. My de catted stripped 172 can easily live with a Porsche boxster 2.7 to the ton. They are 15.5 iirc

I think the 182 Cup is the quickest...it just beat a Trophy around the Bedford test track in Evo...but really theres nothing in it...gear changes etc..
