Clio 172 at high speed,, is it normal for the steering wheel to...

  RenaultSport clio 172 mk2
Hi, since I have had my 172 the steering at high speed (60MPH+ or so) feels really really twitchy, almost as if the wheel nuts are loose :) Is this normal ? I know the 172 has speed responsive steering an wondering if this is how it should be.. If not whats your thinking ? all the tyre pressure is correct for motorway use, an the tread looks even across the tyres (and legal) ta very much.

Yea that would explain it well, also any change in road surface is felt really noticable through the steering wheet.

Thanks for the other suggestions, I am just making sure its either normal or wrong as I have a long drive from yorkshire to cornwall this weekend and dont wanna crash.

yer any dips in the road and u will feel a slight pull in one direction , sane if the road surface is angled slightly.

I know what u mean about the highspeeds though, but after a bit u get used to it
