Hi, Hope this may help a few people..
Started off by having a clicking noise when turning (cv joints )
This then developed in clicking when pulling away in a straight line also ( driveshafts )
Checked driveshaft appeared to have some play in it gearbox end ( went to order one from renault £168 not £90 for a recon as they no longer do these )
Due to price thought i would check before ordering
Removed driveshaft nothing wrong with it but lots of brass shards from gearbox in oil...
So if you have this noise don`t think it a cv joint then a driveshaft as it may well be your gearbox on its way out....also the last time i drove it i had a loud humming noise from nearside wheel.....
