clio 172 cup clutch

Hi all,Sorry if this is a retarded question but I don't have much experience with clio cups.. I recently bought a clio 172 cup which I pick up tomorrow night. When I test drove it the clutch felt very heavy/snappy and the biting point seemed to be quite high is this normal? If you guys don't think this is normal for a 172 cup I'll get them to check it out for me, probably will anyway just for piece of mind..Thanks,

yeaa all the clutches seem extremely heavy so its nothing to worry about lol

Yeah, what's the need for such a heavy clutch. I got a brand new Valeo (or something like that) fitted by Birchdown and even this is mega heavy. I know it's common in the 'sportscar' world but why?

All Clio clutches are heavy.

I think it's a good thing, stops you making snap gear changes and ruining the gearbox.

i just had a new valeo clutch and genuine cable fitted and it is really light, feels like it has an hydraulic system on it.

the old one was very heavy though
