clio 172 cup tow bar?

i remember seeing a tow bar fitted to a clio 172 cup but every time i look for a tow bar it says it will not fit a 172/182.. anybody know why they will not fit and if a normal tow bar will fit a cup but not a normal 172?

i took one off my previouse clio sport 172 and kept it for ages but ended up throwing it away couple of months ago lol or you could of had it

Not certified for towing...or something like that.

ill only be towing a light bike trailer about 2 miles so all i need to know is if the tow bar will actually bolt on

Wasn't homologated for towing.
