Clio 172 Cup Wheels Rubbing

Hello all,



I have had a clio cup 1 year and it has done 20,000 miles. For about the last 6000 miles there has been the occasional noise like my wheels rubbing.

I then took it for a spin around Santa Pod and if I push the car while cornering left the wheels make a horrible rubbing noise as tho it is rubbing against the arch.

Has anybody else had the same problem????

Thats what I thought but it only does it if I throw the car round a left corner and accelerate.

Seemed Odd. normal driving is fine. Although If I pull into a space with full lock the car groans a lot

id guess at the same if it hasnt been lowered. have a look up in the arch or see if the car is sitting lop-sided if its not apparent get it to a somewhere that does wheel alignment and get it up on a ramp

someone has suggested that the shocks may be leaking. other than sticking my head behind the wheel am I likely to see the leak. I cant imagine there is a lot lost as It doesnt feel springy at all.
