Clio 172 Phase II
Hi guys! My name is Fernando, i´m posting from Zamora (Spain). Excuse my poor grammar, i do it the best i can.
I purschased a Clio sport 172 4 years ago, my second car for tracks (first one was a citroen xsara VTS).
When i bought it, it have a KW suspension, renault sport rear bridge, oreca exhaust and a BMC CDA intake system.
The car was an absolut dissaster, no compression, shock absorbers broken and start failures.
The restoration was a hard work and i become the best friend of my mechanic...
The engine was restored with OEM parts including pistons, ported inlet mainfold. No works on engine head.
I changed the BMC CDA for a OEM FILTER BOX with sport sponge. With these configuration, it makes 179,4HP at 6300rpm and 218.7 nm at 5350 rpms.
removed also the KW suspensions and fitted a Bilstein B14 performance by tecnoshock (for track, little more hard and EIBACH ERS front coilovers)
(the picture was made before the tecnoshock upgrade, the ERS coilovers are red.)
There is with my bro nissan sunny, actually made 224HP on dyno...haha
