Clio 172, low temp thrmostat/fan switch?

Does such an item exist? and if so where can i get them from?

The in car temp. gauge seems to be faulty, and i have traced it back to the coolant pipe and found the sensor. Will change this item to see if it fixes it, any recommendations? Is this a common fault?

Nope, the fan is controlled by the ECU and the single temp switch which provides info to the ECU and gauge pod.

Its not a common problem, but it does fail occasionally.

So if the single temp switch is faulty the fan won't be kicking in as it should. As it seems to be doing.

Is this a part i can only get from Reno=$$$$
