Clio 172 Mis-fire HELP!!!

Right ive delevoped a mis-fire on my Clio....at first i thought it was the HT leads so i brought some new ones and it stopped the misfire for a few hours, then started again, so then i got a new coilpack and spark plugs, but yet it still misfires.

if i hold the revs at 3k its fine, or if i get upto speed and feather the throttle its fine, but soon as u put your foot down more, its a constant misfire

Ive put it on the dianostics computer my mate has got, and its come up with Fault Code PO314

Anyone shed some light on what it could be, its doing my head in.

Surely if you had access to a diagnostics machine, should have had access to what each code is!?

id say injector, they are a common issue and symptoms can be exactly as you described.

Yep sounds like injector - take the guard/ cover thing off and with the engine running unplug each injector one at a time to see when it makes no difference to the running of the engine. New/ second hand injector, jobs a good un.

I've had 2 injectors fail in a month now!

Cheers guys, and i didnt have acess to each code, it was just a cheap dianostics comp, but ill give it ago tommoz, btw where is the injectors to on these engines? silly i no but im used to saxo engines haha

Just did the test on the injectors by unpluging them one by one while engine running, when i unplug injector 1&3 engine dies abit so i no there working like they should

when i unplug injector 2&4 engine tone doesnt hardly change, if anything doesnt do much, so im guessing injectors 2-4 are the ones thats faulty?

Car must sound awful if only running on 2 injectors? To have 2 at the same time knackered seems unlikely(I've had 2 in a month go though!) see if you can lay your hands on a second hand rail and 4 injectors - then you can play around with them a bit. You will need to get it plugged in somewhere to remove the eml light.

i dont think there completely faulty though, cos like i said the car does run fine if u hardly use any throttle and if u hold the revs at 3-4k its ok.....so im guessing they might not be buiding enough pressure or leting enough fuel through when the engine needs it????? i aint got a clue though
