Clio 172 sport
After purchasing my first clio sport and been told it had a noisy dephaser pulley i begain to strip the engine, Found that the cams where very badly pitted and worn:-
I have now purchased a 2nd hand engine and stripped it down to check condition of the cams, All is good and was removed for a running clio with 70k on the clock
I have now resealed the cam cover, Replaced the dephaser pulley, cambelt kit, aux kit and new old filter and oil, de-greased the engine and painted it.
Fitted it to the car and just had a few issues with the immobiliser at first but after a few wiring repairs it started and runs very sweet.
I still have a lot to do to the car before it goes on the road.
Repainted the front grill gun metal grey, Repaired cracked front bumper, removed interior to clean everything, carpets and seats.
Calipers are getting stripped down and painted st orange.
New disc's and pads, new tyres ect.
